"Effi Briest" (1974) by Rainer W. Fassbinder is a drama set in 19th-century Germany, describing the story of the social & sexual victimization of the title character, an innocent teenage girl stifled by the conventions of society and lacking the resolve to challenge them. As one of Gregor Schöborn — a german native student — favorite film ever, he designed the poster as a composition of nevrotic drawings superimposed with
the blurred image of an armour.
